Terms&conditions for purchases online for our estimating service are covered below. For all other services that DL Building Consultants provide, terms&conditions will be covered on an individual basis with offers and acceptence of contract.
1.All prices are estimates and based on regional averages.
2.Unit amounts to be checked against the original scaled drawings.
3.The estimate is to be used as a comparison tool to compare costs between builders and not as an exact price/cost schedule.
4.Full payment to be made prior to the estimate being completed.
5.Payment to be made via PayPal through our website.
6.Payment can be made using credit/debit cards, balance transfer or cheque.
7.Payments made by cheque are too clear into our account before any work is carried out on your estimate.
8.All prices to be checked with your local builders merchants.
9.Labour costs are based on regional averages.
10.Labour times are based on uninterrupted works.
11.Labour rates are based on employees’ wages and not sub-contractors.
12.6 day service is from the date that the payment clears into our bank account and we have received you plans (scaled).
13.Days indicates 7 working days being Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
14.Next day service is from the date that the payment clears into our bank account and we have received you plans (scaled).
15.All plans are to be scaled and clearly stated to which scale.
16.Plans uploaded via our website to be in PDF and other stated format.
17.DL Building consultants accepts no responsibility for any alterations to the planning consent/planning drawings either before or after the estimate has been complete.
18.DL Building consultants accepts no responsibility for your choice of builder.
19.All estimates are completed to customers specification where applicable.
20.Our estimates are completed to building regulations unless otherwise stated.
21.Where an allowance has been made the amount and information will be clearly stated within.
22.Customer details will not be passed on.
23.The estimate stands for a maximum 90 (ninety) days from the date stated.
24.Where changes have been made to the original plans since the estimate was completed then a price will be agreed and paid for prior to the re- estimate is completed.
25.The work schedule is meant only as a guide.
26. For all other services that DL Building Consultants provide, terms&conditions and will be covered on an individual basis with offers of contract.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. We accept Credit/Debit card payments, BACS and Paypal. No surcharge is used for any payment methods, we incur the cost of processing rather than passing it onto you the customer.
Credit Card Security
All Credit / Debit card numbers are processed by a 3rd party payment provider, we never get access to your payment information. This is for your security and also ours as we do not want to be in possession of your payment data.
This estimate is based on our standard 6 day service, taken from the next working day following reciept of payment.
Contained within is a comprehensive breakdown of resources (labour, material, plant) and construction costs by build phase.
Customer's plans and paper copy estimate are returned using ROYAL MAIL FIRST CLASS POST.We will also provide for the conractor a customer quote in word format so you will be able to amend any changes such as specifications and price.
Right to Cancel
You may cancel the contract within the timeframe stated below and receive a full refund.
•6 working day service - Cancel with 24 hours of placing the order.
You must send a notice of cancellation by email ensuring that you quote your name, Company name, address and order reference.
We will refund you via your original payment method once we have received and processed your cancelation request and in any event within 14 days of notice of cancellation. You will be liable for any charges incurred if you do not cancel within the timeframes stated above.
